Our training course is designed to fit into any training program that adhere's to the Scientific Working Group Fingerprint Ridge Analysis, Study and Technology training guidelines. Goals expected from this training include:
This training could be used by current examiners as part of a continuing education program or a reasonably priced alternative to the more expensive proficiency tests.
Students who have successfully completed the Forensic Biometric Identification Solutions LLC. Basic Pattern Recognition and Verification Techniques Training, will get a discount. Cost to past students will be $300.
Basic Pattern Recognition and Verification Techniques Training. The course is the equivalent of the 40 hr programs administered by most state and federal agencies. The course includes fingerprint workshops which will allow the student to actually utilize the learned techniques. The course has tremendous benefits to law offices (prosecution/defense),law enforcement agencies, and criminal justice students. After completion of the course the student will:
* Understand automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) processing.
* Determine proper pattern type.
* Classify fingerprint cards using the NCIC and IAFIS formulas.
* Determine "usability" fingerprint images for comparison purposes.
* Understand and apply Analysis,Comparison, Evaluation and Verification methodology in comparison of fingerprint images.
Capturing Fingerprint Impressions(Livescan/Ink & Roll).
Student will:
* Understand the history of fingerprints for civil and Law enforcement applications.
* Understand how the automated fingerprint identification systems function.

Loop, Arch and Whorl Patterns
* The student understand importance and what is needed in a good quality fingerprint, inked or livescan fingerprint capture:

* Student will be able to determine and define pattern area and be able to understand the required elements of a good fingerprint image.
